How I found my old friends online…

"Growing up in suburb of Chicago, I lived on a block where everyone knew everyone else. All of the kids knew each other and we would see other and go to school together every day. At the age of 16, we moved away and I lost touch with my old friends from the neighborhood. "Living in a small town on Long Island and switching elementary schools in 6th grade left me with almost no school friends going into high school the next year. The shock alone of attending a school with grades starting from 7th to 12th was more than enough to handle and to only have a few friends doing that was torture. Luckily a few months into 7th grade, I was befriended by a really sweet and pretty girl named Patty. Patty was a year older then me and took me under her angel like wings, introducing me to the cool crowd and making my school life enjoyable. Unfortunately Patty moved to New Jersey a year later and my heart was broken. I never really thanked her or told her how much I cared for her. Seventeen years later after joining this site I decided to do a people search for Patty. To my suprise my high school angel is a Find-MyFriends.com member. I found out that she was married but is now single and more beautiful then I could ever imagine. We have a "meeting" in a few weeks when I get back from Vancouver and I can't wait see her in person.
